The Australian Unmanned Systems Academy (AUSA) is the education and training organisation of the V-TOL Group of companies. Incorporated in 2009 by V-TOL Aerospace, AUSA is an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering tertiary level career pathway courses and is CASA approved for training pilots under the V-TOL Remote Operator Certificate (ReOC).
AUSA has played a key role in developing the Remote Pilot License (RePL) with CASA, the Certificate III in Avaition (AVI30419), and the Certificate IV in Aviation (AVI40419). These courses that teach aviation principles, from the basic aerodynamics to advanced drone operations.
Created by industry for industry, AUSA has graduated over 500 endorsed pilots from seven different nations. AUSA is trusted & recognised by regulators to educate & deliver the quality & experience required to graduate competent, safe & compliant Pilots commencing their professional careers in robotics.
AUSA is a Pre-Qualified Supplier (PQS) for VET in Schools (VETiS) drone certificate & RePL courses and has developed the unique Future Skies schools program that is designed to go beyond & expand the possibilities of the standard qualification. Our goal is to provide job ready graduates to industry and our ‘core’ economic sectors such as mining, energy, forestry, agriculture & government services.
